Whether you’re 18 or 68 (or anywhere in between!), we welcome you to join our unforgettable off-road adventures across K’gari (Fraser Island) and beyond.
Age is just a number… what matters is your sense of adventure, curiosity, and willingness to explore!
What to Expect
Even though we have no age limit, it’s important to note that our tours are hostel-style experiences.
You’ll be staying in our comfortable beach house accommodations, where guests share rooms, communal spaces, and meals.
It’s a friendly, social environment where like-minded travelers connect, swap stories, and relax after a day of adventure.
Food & Mealtime
Our meals are more backpacker-style+ than your usual pasta-and-tuna fare.
Lovely volunteers cook easy, hearty, and heartwarming meals for everyone. It’s communal, we all help clean up after ourselves, dry and put away the dishes and utensils we use. It’s part of the shared experience and adds to the social, welcoming vibe of the house.
Our average guest age tends to be 18–30, but travelers in their mid-30s, 40s, and even 50s have had amazing experiences with us.
Just keep in mind that it’s a lively, communal atmosphere, so if you’re expecting a quiet resort-style vacation, this isn’t it.
But if you want adventure, camaraderie, and an authentic island experience, this is your chance!
