Perfect for extended weekend adventures, our 3-day 4WD Tag Along Tour is ideally suited if you want a few days of fun adventures in different settings, including the bush, beaches, lakes, and rainforests. While traversing the island, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to document the unforgettable moments of your trip for posterity by taking Instagram-worthy photos while walking in the rainforest at Pile Valley or swimming in Champagne Pools or discovering K’gari and the shipwreck Maheno. Whether it’s taking a night walk and gazing at the amazing stars, waking up to a perfect sunrise or spotting a family of dingoes in the wild, your sense of adventure is sure to be satisfied during your 3-day 4WD tour of K’gari.

What you need to know about our 3 Day Guided 4WD Tour

• 3 Days, 2 nights experience on K’gari (Fraser Island)
• Led by an experienced, knowledgeable lead guide.
• Private Beach House accommodation with shared rooms, located at Eurong on K’gari’s Eastern Beach. View our accommodation here.
• Experience driving 4WD on the island OR enjoy the tour as a passenger.
• All meals provided – 3 lunches, 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts + snacks. Dietary requirements catered for upon request, costs may apply. View our menu here.
• All local charges included – return ferry ticket & access permits.
• Free pick-ups available from select hostels in Hervey Bay from 7:00 am, or meet at our office at 7:15 am.
• Driver safety briefing at 7:30 am the morning of departure – no 4WD experience required!
• Tour returns 4-4:15 pm on the second day.
• Free street parking while you are away, or secure parking is available for a daily fee.
• Luggage storage can be organised; $10 for small luggage, $20 for large luggage
• Recommended age limit of 18+. Please reach out to our team before booking for passengers <18.

Trip itineraries may vary due to weather, access closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, and guides reserve the right to amend itineraries in the interests of passenger safety and comfort; minimum tour numbers are required for departure, and all participants must reconfirm their booking via the waiver link by 9:30am on the day before departure. What do I need to drive on your tour?

• All drivers must be over 21 years old and hold a current full driver’s licence for a minimum of 2 years.
• A credit or debit card to hold the security bond ($2,500)
• Looking to reduce the excess? Reduce excess to $0 for $50 per person (no bond hold). Terms and conditions apply.
• Drivers must demonstrate an intermediate level of English to ensure they are able to communicate and understand verbal instructions from the guide during the tour.
